Our kitchen is the heart of the homestay. Local spices, plantation pepper, fresh produce from our garden and recipes lovingly passed down through five generations.
At Guddadamane Homestay we serve Malnad cuisine — local home-cooked food that is distinct from Mangalorean or generic South Indian cooking. The difference lies in the preparation, the masalas and the intent.
Sarsa uses fresh-ground masalas prepared with her own unique blends of different spices. The menu is fixed and decided by Sarsa each day based on what is freshest and best — and that spontaneity is exactly what makes it special.
We don't serve "buffet-style" food. Every meal is freshly cooked and served warm. Vegetarian, non-vegetarian and Jain options available with prior notice.
Tell us your dates and food preferences. We'll cook up a Malnad feast for your stay.
